(no subject)

Hello everyone,

Sorry it has been so long, I haven't looked at email or anything for days and days.

I have facial herpes. I have a big pulsating cold sore. I am very attractive. I have to work tonight and I am afraid that I might scare customers. Poor me!

My little sister Alex got into uni in Kiwi land, congratulations old bean. Praise be! As a result, my parents and Alex are coming over here on my birthday and we're going to have a big party! Woo!

I've had some more dreadful news. A very close family friend of ours, Jack, has had a series of small strokes and is in hospital. He's only in his late forties. It's seriously scary. I'm told he'll eventually recover the use of his right arm. I can only assume that I must be jinxed in some way, because everyone around me appears to be either dropping dead or getting sick. I realise that this is very ecocentric and delusional of me, but I like to think of it as a sign that I'm not supposed to be here.
