Hello Tristan, Got the shock of my life about Jack. Haven't been to see him as it's Easter weekend and figure he'll just want family around. Daddy told me to wait, too, so I'm biding my time. Cool news about Alex getting into uni!
I'm a bit down right now. Auntie Val called me this morning to say she read my play again and she really likes it. She says I have good descriptive powers. I'm worried this thing is never going to get funded and it will not get put on, and I really want it to be produced soon so I can fly Grandma and Val over to Scotland as promised. I think Val's lonely, and I worry about her getting older and frailer. Right now I am terrified of my older relatives dropping dead. Except, now with this stuff going on with Jack, I realise that no one is safe. I wonder if I told the Scottish exec that I have to have it produced for my gran...but no, they have hearts of stone, damn them!
I'm also upset because I miss everyone and I feel very isolated. Our friend Jamie is coming over for dinner on Monday. He is so far one of two people I really like and could call a friend. That's really bad. That's crap friend making. Mind you, we had a few false starts, what with moving in with drug dealers and rats etc. Jamie is a very nice man who is on the radio a lot and is a very funny comedian also. We think he's clean. He is also a big gaybo. Our other friend, Justin, is a gay man too. I think there's a pattern! All our friends names begin with J! Spooky.
Have fun with Alex. I get to have her soon. In June. That's not too far. It happens to be the month I turn 25, so scary biscuits! Brrr!
