Ye may have seen that from my last non-techy post, my grandmother is gradually fading also. Of course, they are different people who have affected each member of their generation in some way, yet pain at their loss is universal.
I inimitated that I fee fortunate that my grief, this time anyhow, has been activated by early warning. My granny has made a recovery (again) however she has accepted that this is most likely to be her last year which is a massive blessing to all concerned. By which I mean her acceptance because whether it comes at her own choosing or otherwise, signifies that she condones the process. This gives us comfort to tell stories also, which mitigates the pain, whilst also seems to dilute the grief.
I wish you well, both of you and do come for tea whenever you wish, ok?
