Oh, I'm not saying that most people wouldn't say the same. That's not going to make them correct. I happen to think that the essence of the human soul may well one day be found and proven through Science, rendering it rather less than supernatural.

And if you think I can then apply that principle to anything, rendering the Supernatural non-existent... well done!

I don't.

Soul isn't a word I use on a day-to-day basis. I think most people tend to use it out of habit, and to mean "That bit of a human that we don't understand yet." In additional, believers in the supernatural seem to use it to mean "That bit which lives on after death".

As I don't need a separate word for "the bit we don't understand" and don't believe "there is a bit that lives on after death" it's not a word that gets a lot of use from me :->
