In recent us type news:

Lizzie has had her boobie operated on. She is still quite sick from the shock of operation and is at home today, sleeping and pottering.

We had the house of beautiful gorgeousness surveyed and it turns out that it isn't worth as much as we offered for it. We had to pitch a lower offer and now we have it thoroughly secured for ten grand less than originally planned. Hooray! It has also been taken off the espc website, so it's definitely ours. Ours ours ours.

We should find out today about the mortgage and whether or not we can actually have one. It's fun to do things backwards!

We have also just put the flat on fixed price, at 147 000. (Edit: Actually, Ari, it's 148 000 -and we now have two viewers lined up at that price. Byee, Lxxx) Perfectly reasonable, and we have at least the next couple of weeks to polish the carpet and vaccuum the fridge.

Nobody warned me that being grown up would necessitate so much lying down and having palpitations.
