checking connections to and from battery would be the first thing to do. a dead or knocked out fuse in fuse box is the likely option re doors/alarm (not being able to turn off alarm may mean alternator not working, thus not being able to start). sorry i didn't see this earlier as i have jump leads.

if it's still messed up after Brian shows, you can still use breakdown to a. confirm problem and b. get it to your mechanic.
