Does anyone still use Entourage?

I'm trying to set up email forwarding through Entourage. I've got this working, through tools - rules. As long as the account that auto-forwarding is on is connected, all emails are forwarded. Nae bother.

However, the reason that I'm setting up forward is that the email account holder won't be connected most of the time. She's away. Hence the need to forward.

Emails won't forward unless the account is logged in.

Any ideas from you bright types?

Thanks x

PS Outlook for Mac is here...thanks Christ. We'd need to pay for Office 2011 to get it though.

Is the Server an Exchange server? Because, if so, Out Of Office notifications should run on that, and not need anyone to be connected.

If it's an ordinary mail server then you're pretty much out of luck, I think.

There are option to set up rules on IMAP, POP and Exchange. I have them set up on the latter two.

No, I mean on IMAP and exchange.

Hmm. The Exchange one should work even when not logged in. IMAP doesn't suppotr "away messages" as part of its standard - but your actual server might, if it's designed for office use.

The question is - do you have any tech support? Who hosts the email?

I pretty much *am* the tech support!
