Sweet gorgeous man

About 2 weeks ago I was depressed and surfing around online a bit and came across the Eddie Izzard website. In a fit of pretending we have wads of money, I ordered the 4-DVD signed boxset for 55 pounds. Then I got an email confirming my order which said shipping to a UK address. Panicked, I wrote back saying no! no! Not Uk! Australia!

Days passed and nothing.

Today, it arrived in the post. Dressed To Kill, Definite Article, Glorious and Unrepeatable. All signed by the hand from the body that wore the trousers that I touched.

I'm in heaven.

[pauses to listen to the choirs of birds and angels]

Hmmm....

Did they have Asbos before you left? Georgie is off the rails...all her new friends are hippies and smackheads.

I'm expecting she'll get dreadlocks and a council house any day now.

Not all Georgies friends are hippies and druggies! What about me? I'm a good influence... ;-p I've been helping her shop to get away from these disturbing trends - nice sensible, flattering navy sailor girl jumper and jeans...

I'm so sorry all that icky stuff keeps happening my darlings - when you come back to the UK I'll give you both lots of snuggles. And Eddie Izzard is just cool - how can you be unhappy whilst watching him???

I'm up in Edinburgh at the mo, on a long holiday visting Marc and all my lovely people in Ed - if anyone fancies meeting up give me a buzz - I've lost all my numbers cos my old phone went to poop but my new phone has the same number so you can get in touch with me if you want to. I'm here til friday morning.

I love you both so much honies - it feels so weird wandering around Edinburgh without you guys being here - I keep on going into the Tron and expecting you to be there Ari.

Hope life is more cheerful and lovely friends drop out of the sky like you deserve.

Naomi, you write in the style of a menopausal teddy bear. I never have a clue what you're talking about. All I can see is pink fluff and sparkly nail varnish where there should be words. I think I'm getting old.

Noooooooooo! I would have loved to meet up with you too honey, how's it going? Sorry, I just asumed people had my number. It's 07984401524 for future reference. I'm back down in London now - had a hellish journey to work today where a normally 40 minute journey took 2 and a half hours. Hate London transport! Miss being able to walk or bus it everywhere. :-( I'll be back up soon though and will give you a buzz.

And what do you mean I've gone all menopausal and pink fluffy-ish??!! Most insulted ;-p Guess being away from you guys makes me nuttier than I was before (now that's a scary thought).

Will try and give you a ring Lizzie and Ari but I'll have to find one of those cheap call cards and even that will have to wait til the end of the month as I'm skint from Edinburgh.

It is good to get rescue packages to remind you of home. Alex shall be with me soon, and so I shall purchase internet Twisties to eat while watching Aunty Jack with her. We shall construct a papier mache replica of you to sit beside us, grumbling at a similar replica of Binky.
