Lizzie is already writing about Melbourne, so I will talk about learning French instead. Lizzie has been teaching me. We have been splashing about in the rain and the puddles, talking about a figurative monkey. We have been watching too much Eddie Izzard.

It is raining and I look very pretty and Melbourne is full of stuff!!!! It is cool. If we had had any brains at all, we would have come here first. That said though, Brisbane was definately the place to be in terms of re - establishing relations with my relatives in Rockhampton, and with my grandma in Nambour, before she died. There is always a reason. And although it may not be clear to you, the universe is unfolding as it should ect.

I've not really had access to a computer properly for some weeks now, so I've been a bit out of contact, but I have been reading everyone's journal and keeping track. Sian, Georgie and Fliss, Lizzie got you present. I tried to read some of the poetry out aloud, but Lizzie just laughed at me.

What news? Well, Lizzie is in the process of telling you all about the thing we have been concealing for ages. I will leave that up to her to do. We just didn't want to say anything until we were sure one way or the other.

I got an email from Jemima the other day saying that yes the funding has come through, but they want to do it in 2008, which is cool with me, and - ooh! they want to tour it outside of Scotland! Now, by 'outside of Scotland, does she mean...England? Or possibly a cheap tramp through some Eastern European countries? So the play is on, the play is on. The other bit of news in this department is that the Melbourne Theatre Company have agreed to read the script. They are Australia's oldest theatre co and take on world class stuff, so I'm well chuffed that they want to read it. But they might not like it and I very well may not be world class. Holding my breath in a cautiously excited way about that.

We are coming home late August. We will try to save as much as we can and pay off vast amounts of credit card. I've sent off the last of what I need for my working holiday visa, so that should come through soon. If they say no, then Lizzie and I will run away to New Zealand and live together in a gay way, possibly up a mountain, until they'll let us both back in as a couple. Then we'll rent a house, paint it pink and raise poodles in manner of gaybos everywhere.

I want to eat a baked potato! Hurry up Lizzie! Let's go!

Ok.

Bye!

Le sange est sur le branche!
