The amazing, beautiful upper flat in the colonies with it's own garden had its closing date yesterday. When we saw it, we came away wanting it so badly and we put an offer on it, thinking we could only do our best.
Yesterday they called Lizzie to tell her that our offer has been accepted.
Providing we can now get a mortgage for that much and sell our flat adequately, we will shortly be moving into our own house with our own front door and our very own garden. And that means I can have a cat.
Joy does not begin to describe it.
Expect a fabulous house warming party some time this summer.
