Irony

Just had a conversation with my boss, and because I am very foreign and they are Civil Service, they are going to employ me until the end of October. They want me back after I'm married and am able to legally work again and they're looking into whether or not they are able to have me as a volunteer. But they might not even be able to do that. I thought maybe they'd be able to take it up till February, but apparently that's a no go. So the ranger positions I just posted - one of those vacancies is mine.

Oh, I'll be fine. It's just that mentally my goal posts have been moved and it's a bit disorienting. Time to tighten belts and eat pasta, and then loosen belts because pasta makes you fat. Here's to podgy poverty! It'll be just like being a student again. It'll be fun! Oh good god. *facepalm* even.

It will all be fine! We will live on blind airy optomism, and survive. In fact, we can go interest only on the mortgage and things will be actually very handleable. Enjoy your cat! Cedric seemed to be off his food but I think in fact he is being fed somewhere else during the day. Time to get him a collar so that well meaning people know he's owned and fed.
