lizzie_and_ari Yes, we're homeless But not in a bad, skint, let's-take-drugs-so-the-memory-of-waking-up-in-a-bin-with-a-hobo-licking-my-face sort of way. In a, we have money for hostels etc and lots of nice helpful friends trying to help us out. First night we stayed at Dave's, then Nikki's, then a hostel, then Dave's again. From today til at least Wednesday we have a room at Quentin's Mum's house, where we went for the New Year Party. It's a bit far out, and may the bit where we're ataying may be a bit grotty, but it has a pool, and Quentin, who's cool, and it's a roof and a bed, and til Wednesday it's also free.
We've put in an application on a place round the corner from work, so we'll se about that one. We also have a few more places to see, including one this afternoon in Lizzie Street, freakily enough. IN a couple of weeks Dave is away to Edinburgh so we can stay at his place while he's away which would work out nicely anyway as I'm going to need to be in the office, which is in the flat, min. 12 hours a day anyway! (woo hoo.) We're also going away for 10 days shortly after he gets back so if we don't find anywhere before then it could all just work out to save us some money. Reason for everything etc.
There's not much other news. Working, sleeping, eating, bitching about Bec (who we work with and she's a lazy annoying cow), drinking beer, missing you all terribly.
Anything else?
Yes. Lizzie is very bossy to work with and sometimes she's mean to me.
I get very stressed. There's a lot going on. I am very busy and important...well, busy anyway. Must drink more beer.

PS -- I realise how dumb it is to ask you to keep warm in Australia - it's really more of a metaphor. Also, Tristan keeps your birthday message on the answering machine so he can hear your voices. I think that's important to know.
