Better today

Hello folks,
Thank you all so much for the lovely comments it made us feel a lot better and Ari nearly did cry.
Things are generally better now though. Yesterday afternoon we went to see Ari's Aunty Val - her grandma's sister. Val is very groovy. Ari was telling her and this woman called Mary all about everything which primarily made me woozy and cry and everything, but then stuff was better. Mary (who's 62) and Val (who's 72) were telling us how people of her Grandma's age (67) could be very funny abut things. I found this quite amusing. But you see Val and Mary used to work in the theatre dahling and you know they had a gay friend once. Maybe two. (plus a girl who was just a pretend one in the end) Anyway the really kick-ass thing was that Mary is driving down to Brisbane on Wednesday or Thursday and has offered us a lift which will save a fair bit on flights and gives us a good excuse to leave early - we promised before we'd stay for 2 weeks. So that's cool. Today we are goign to the beach and we're taking Humphrey and camping and yesterday we bought sleeping bags you can zip together and so we'll get to cuddle up and go to sleep again tonight which will ROCK in the extreme.
Actually the tremendously kick-ass thing is things are just better today. I don't know if Ari's Mum maybe spoke to her gran, cos she did call yesterday, but things seemed more chilled this morning - she was showing us photos and letters of/from her dad who was a POW in WW2. She was talking to me as well as Ari which was cool. Really she just wants to convince herself we're just good friends which I'm cool with. I'd rather be Ned's lovely mate Lizzie and lets not think/talk about anything else, than be her Evil Girlfriend. SO all is groovy.
Um. Think I will let the missus say stuff now.
Love and miss you all!!

don't read this it's crossed out
Hello darlings all,
Today's better. This morning was a bit shaky. I said to Grandma that we were going to the beach and she said 'How come?' and I said, er, what, um, and basically I think avoided the row I think she was trying to have with me. If she'd probed anymore I would have exploded, but after a while she started to help us with suggestions about where to go and what to do. I think the only way she can treat us normally is to treat us as friends. So it's all cool. And we'll be away for a while, so thank christ for that. Not the Catholic Jesus Christ, but our own dear christ.
By which I mean the christ in charge of cigarettes and alcohol.
I love you all very much indeed and I still want you all to come camping with me. Sigh.
Poo.
Love you,
Arixxx
Me again. Just wanted to share with you all, by means of light relief, that we were just sitting in the internet place waiting for a computer and Ari complained that 'you know, none of those clocks on the wall even give the same time' until I had to tactfully point out they also had signs beneath them saying things like 'Rome' 'Moscow' 'London' 'Bangkok' Doh.
She's very beautiful but not very bright.

GASP! I can't believe she'd tell such wicked fibs! I'm actually very clever, much cleverer than she is. And prettier.
No it's true. I've been teaching her to do Sudokus. ANd yes of course she is prettier.
No, she's much prettier than me.
I cna hear Georgie throwing up from here and we must stop this now.
