(no subject)

The other night, Lizzie got down on one knee and proposed. I am wearing a beautiful victorian ring, made of gold and emeralds and an opal, all of which must once have been mined from the antipodean colonies.

The plan so far is that we'd like to get married in beautiful dresses on Arthurs seat, preferably by the swans or the chapel. Then we'll have our reception at the botanical gardens, as I am determined to spend at least some of my big day running around in bare feet on the grass.

So now I need to find Lizzie a ring, and we both need a good friend to help us both find dresses that won't clash.

It is a very good start to the year. I feel like a princess. We have eighteen months to plan things. Yippee!!!!!!
