I'm totally fine, but...

I have to go into hospital on Monday.
I've had this lump in my breast for a couple of years, which has been checked out on 2 or 3 occasions and it's fine, but it's getting bigger. So when I went for a check up on Monday I was told that they want to remove it. Which apparently involves me going into hospital for the day and undergoing general anaesthetic. Ari is going to come in and drop me off, but then I won't be able to see anyone while I wait to be called, undergo surgery, then 'recuperate' for 4 hours. No visitors allowed.
It's all a bit wierd and scary.
But Ari will pick me up and take me home and make me tea because she takes care of me. I'm very lucky.
Oh and I spoke to her parents yesterday and I told her Dad - didn't use the word breast cos apparently men go all shy (men reading this - is this true?) - but after saying nice things, he passed me on to a girl nonetheless - Ari's Mum, who said more lovely things - she's always having things removed. It was nice.
Anyway think of me on Monday and hopefully nothing will go wrong.
