Leaving on a midnight train..

Sydney smells. We are leaving. We are going to get the train to Bundaberg - 24 hour trip and we're getting out of Sydney.

First of all though, let me say how STUPENDOUSLY WONDERFUL it was to speak to everyone at Morag and Bex's party on (what was for us) Saturday morning)It was so so lovely and stupendous and amazing and I love you all.

The weekend has been slightly less stressful all round with a decision to go to Bundaberg on Saturday, we just had to wait to hear back from Jodie, who is Ari's friend-since-she-was-six. We're going to pitch Humphrey in her back yard and actually see Australia in all it's wonderful uniqueness rather than a city full of McDonalds and Krispy Kremes.

Yesterday we went up the Blue Mountains though, just out of Sydney and they were fabulous. Annette (Alex's lady - not in a couple sense, they just belong to each other) took some photos on her digital camera so when she sends them we can post them up it'll be fabulous.

Hmm I notice Ari is also writing, I wonder what she's saying. Don't let her try and tell you I love any of you less than she does. It's all lies.

So today we are going to wander round Sydney and see the exciting things is has to offer before LEAVING FOREVER tomorrow (well probably not for ever cos we might try and come back for the Mardi Gras but that's so much less dramatic).

I'd also like to say that Ariadne is outstanding today.

Hello everyone,

Lizzie is currently updating so we may accidentally say the same things. I'll make this quick. First, how amazing to talk to everyone at the party! It almost felt like we were there, and in any case it was very lovely to have been invited to it, even if it was long distance. What a beautiful thing to wake up to.

I'm currently pondering the sex and lies of my ex nun lesbian celibate aunty. She told me that she and Annette have never had a gay relationship. But Mel said they used to be a couple and that a wee while ago, Alex said they didn't have that kind a relationship any more. Implying that they were once havintg sex.

She also said Annette isn't gay. But she must be! If they've had sex.

They act like a couple. They bicker like a couple. Annette has recently moved in. And although they sleep in separate beds, I'm certain there's a fair amount of bed hopping going on.

Maybe Alex is trying to protect her privacy, but my goodness, there seems to be a huge cover - up operation going on. It's really quite fun to be this intrigued.

Anyway.

We're going to Bundaberg on a train! It's going to take hours and hours! Woo hoo! There we will alight and do some really menial labour until we're solvent again, which will take a long time and in the meantime if the taipans don't bite us and the sunburn doesn't kill us and the sunstroke doesn't boil our brains, Bundaberg could be the place for us! There are turtles laying eggs there in November and we might be able to find turtle jobs and that's why we're going really. Also, Jodie was the very last person I could flee to with no money. Much as I love her, I didn't think for a second I'd end up in Bundaberg. Oh well, here's to adventures!
