Happy Mondays: busy busy busy

Hello!
What a busy week I have been having.
1. I worked out the other day that I have nine jobs! Or at least, nine open employment type relationships:
2. Over half of these are even paid gigs! Financially, we're getting there. We have had some incredible luck for which we are constantly grateful. Between the bursary Ari got, and a few other piece of unexpected money (tax rebate, electricity rebate, refund of my arts council pension), we've basically got enough to pay for her MA. That is amazing.
We're still close to the bone and I think are running an overall deficit, but two months ago we were running a deficit of £1,500 a month. By January we should have got this down to zero - no extravagances planned, but we should be able to do things like buying Christmas presents for our nearest and dearest. As long as this number remains small. I am looking forward to my birthday - March 4th. By then we should be out of the mire and one way or another the MA will definitely be paid for.
3. Good job then, with all these jobs, that my business cards arrived! They're not perfect, a couple of things I'll change for next time, but pretty cool nonetheless.
4. Also still trundling with Nanowrimo. On about 31,000 I think - still behind technically but I think I'll do it.
5. John has gone to Thailand. That's very weird. Had a lovely time taking him to the airport in Glasgow, as Julie came along too and we had a chance for big chats. It was really lovely.
6. My interview with Heather Peace is up online and will be in the December Skinny. It's currently the #1 read piece on The Skinny site and has been for nearly a week now. That's very exciting for me. It's been linked to on AfterEllen.com - big online lesbian gathering. Yay.
7. I've been at The Traverse a lot this week - for their Autumn Festival party on Thursday, which reminded me to go and see Gareth K Vile's Chat Show, and am going pub quizzing with some of the SAC old guard tonight.
8. I had the loveliest day with my lovely wife yesterday - we slept in too late, ate pancakes, ate leftover tuna bake, watched some bad telly, Hazel came over later on for The X Factor (which, I'd like recorded, I watch because Ari loves it, not vice versa as some may presume). Proper Sunday type day.
9. Ooh Siân is here. I'd better go. Siân is nice. We had a morning working at her house the other day and she was supposed to come to us this morning, but she has been unwell. Maybe she's pregnant.
Have an ace week!
